How To Make the Perfect Easter Eggs

It’s almost Easter and it’s time to dye eggs. Here’s a tried and true recipe. It came straight from my grandmother and it’s worked for her for years. ;) Here’s her recipe for the perfect hard-boiled eggs.

  1. Put eggs in pot gently. Do not stack eggs. They should be in one level.
  2. Fill pot with water, so an inch of water covers the tops of the eggs.
  3. Place pot on high heat to boil.
  4. As soon as the water comes to a rolling boil, remove pot from stove and place on a cool burner.
  5. Set stove timer for 15 minutes.
  6. When timer goes off, drain eggs gently.
  7. Run cold water over the eggs in the strainer.

Your eggs are now hard-boiled and ready to be dyed. Enjoy!
