It’s almost Easter and it’s time to dye eggs. Here’s a tried and true recipe. It came straight from my grandmother and it’s worked for her for years. ;) Here’s her recipe for the perfect hard-boiled eggs.
- Put eggs in pot gently. Do not stack eggs. They should be in one level.
- Fill pot with water, so an inch of water covers the tops of the eggs.
- Place pot on high heat to boil.
- As soon as the water comes to a rolling boil, remove pot from stove and place on a cool burner.
- Set stove timer for 15 minutes.
- When timer goes off, drain eggs gently.
- Run cold water over the eggs in the strainer.
Your eggs are now hard-boiled and ready to be dyed. Enjoy!
